The IWB from cowboy holsters has been my favored way to carry a G19 and G30 for several years. They are little thick and chunky, but are a very solid, durable design. If money’s no object, Matt DelFatti’s IWBs (delfatti.com) are awesome.

Taurus magazines
The .500 S&W produced by Taurus magazines are few and far between these days and appear to be discontinued in their product line. I have searched for one for some time and I’m thinking those that have them will hang on to them…but checks here on the E&E and gunbroker.com may find one.
I think you’ll only get into the 8" model in the Taurus magazines .500.
As an aside, I own every 6.5" Tracker model produced (not including any custom guns) by taurus, 6 weapons in all, and they are fine revolvers. Many will discount the maker based on earlier experiences but their manufacturing processes and customer service have improved temendously.
I quickly discovered that although the Fobus was great for that purpose, it was useless for concealed carry. So, I used it during the commute and switched to a Blade-Tech paddle holster before and after the commute. Worked great for it’s intended purpose and I liked it. Now that I don’t have that long commute, I just use the Handgun Holsters and position it a little further back around the hip in the car and slip it back forward for walking around.
Pardon me while I yawn; then see my remarks above regarding gun Holsters grabbers. Anyone who carries exposed, and isn’t wearing a proper uniform duty-type concealment holster, is ASKING to have their piece snatched.
Concealed carry is much more than techniques and gear; it is very much a state of mind as well.
Not dissing you personally, Aimless; but I have heard this pap about how easy a Fobus is to break repeated so often it is getting tiresome. I’m not disputing the fact; but those "instructors" who belabor the point are MISSING the point: which is, the Fobus is intended for concealed carry. IOW, nobody ahould know you even have a gun until you’re ready to show it to them…
his sucks; I have the EXACT Fobus Holster they denoted as being unsafe. I bought it about 2 months ago because I wanted a holster for my G19 with my TLR-1 mounted. I don’t use it for a daily carry holster, I only break it out once in a blue moon if my wife and I go for a late night walk. If I am not using the TLR, I prefer my Galco Holsters Matrix Belt Slide in the composite Uncle Mikes Holster arena - it just seems a bit nice than the Fobus to me.
I’ll probably keep mine as it is seldom used. I will, however, not be taking it’s possible safety issues for ankle holster.

“Skippy” was first used as a trademark for peanut butter by the Rosefield Packing Co., Ltd., of Alameda, California, in 1933. Percy Crosby, creator of the “Skippy” comic strip, had the trademark invalidated in 1934, but Rosefield persisted after Crosby was committed to an insane asylum, and its successor companies, most recently Unilever, have been granted rights to the trademark over the objection of Crosby’s heirs. There has been much litigation on this point over the decades, some of which remains in progress.[1]
The Associated Press Monday, April 5, 2004; 4:59 PM
ANNANDALE, Va. - For nearly 40 years Joan Crosby Tibbetts has waged a one-woman campaign against the makers of Skippy peanut butter, claiming the name was stolen from her father’s popular Depression-era comic strip.
On Monday, Tibbetts’ legal battle ended when the U.S. Supreme Court refused to hear her suit against Skippy’s manufacturer, a division of the multinational conglomerate Unilever. But Tibbetts, 71, said she’ll continue her battle in the court of public opinion.
“This case involves a very important principle … ‘Thou shalt not steal,’” Tibbetts said Monday. “If this case is allowed to disappear and they succeed in shutting me up, who has won? These big corporations that believe they can just wear others down.”
Tibbetts’ crusade began in 1965 when the state of New York tasked her with administering her father Percy Crosby’s estate. She had not seen her father since 1939, when Crosby’s wife divorced him and took the children.
Crosby died in December 1964, after spending the last 18 years of his life in a mental hospital, his cartoon character by then largely forgotten…
Her research led her to the conclusion that the trademark for Skippy peanut butter had been improperly obtained by the Rosefield Packing Co.
She has waged her campaign ever since, a few episodes of success interspersed with endless legal wrangling and frustration.
In 1978 she won a $25,000 settlement from Bestfoods, which had purchased Skippy peanut butter from Rosefield. But Tibbetts said the settlement was with the understanding that Bestfoods would use the original Skippy character in its marketing, which never occurred.
It was also before Tibbetts found documents that she says prove Skippy’s manufacturers knowingly obtained their trademark by fraud and covered up the evidence. One document written by lawyers in 1954 as Bestfoods prepared to buy Rosefield suggested that Bestfoods’ chief counsel should deny knowledge that the Skippy mark had been fraudulently obtained.
Another victory for Tibbetts, of Annandale, Va., came in 2000 when a federal appeals court overturned a ruling that had barred Tibbetts from claiming on the Internet that she was the legitimate holder of the Skippy trademark.
That ruling, on First Amendment grounds, allows Tibbetts to continue her campaign, telling her story on the Internet and agitating for change and advocating a boycott of Unilever products. And now that her civil claim has been denied, she plans to petition the Justice Department for a criminal case.
She acknowledges crusade’s toll - financially, emotionally and physically. She also has been subject to nasty e-mail comments, including one writer who hoped she drowns in a giant vat of peanut butter.
A spokeswoman for Unilever, which has previously said Tibbetts’ claims are without merit, did not immediately respond to a call seeking comment.
And just so we don’t leave you with a good taste in your mouth, a Skippy peanut butter television commercial from the 1950’s (caution, the ad may be a tad bit sexist):
Those Firearm Training for Law Enforcement about high levels of gun violence in the United States in comparison to other developed countries[1][2] look to restrictions on gun ownership as a way to stem the violence. Those supportive of long-standing rights to keep and bear arms point to the Second Amendment of the Constitution, which specifically prevents infringement of the “right of the people to keep and bear arms.”

Hyper-velocity bullets 10/22 stock have a muzzle velocity of 425 to 550 m/s (1400-1804 ft/s)and this velocity is partially due to the light bullets they use. The bullets are usually around 30 grains 1.9-2.2 grams in weight. However there is a round that is classified as “hypervelocity” that utilizes a 40 grain (2.6g) projectile. This cartridge, called the Velocitor is manufactured by CCI, owned by Alliant Corporation, it has a muzzle velocity of 1,435 ft/s (450 m/s). This cartridge utlizes a conventional case size, as opposed to the longer case used by a stinger. The Velocitor uses a proprietary Gold Dot hollow Point to augment 10/22 stock and trauma when hunting, this special hollow point is used to keep the bullet’s full 40 grains. Whereas in many other hunting cartridges weight is reduced to make a hollowed out point, or a hollow point. Special shot cartridges, usually loaded with #12 shot (see shotgun shell) in a .22 LR caliber have also been made and these are ideal for pest control at very short ranges. Such rounds will either have a longer brass case that is crimped closed, or a translucent plastic “bullet” that contains the shot and shatters upon firing. In specially-made .22 bore shotguns, the shotshells can be used for short range skeet shooting and trap shooting at special, scaled-down, clay targets.

FINGER-ADJUSTABLE SCOPES:
After zeroing, you may use the hex wrench supplied with your scope to remove the windage and elevation drums and then reposition
them so that the zero (“0”) lines up with the indicator line on the spindle. Any further windage or elevation
adjustments can be made more precisely by calculating the amount of clicks from the zero point the windage and elevation
drums have been moved. BAS Scopes rheostat, located at the top of the eyebell, controls the degrees of illumination. To prevent accidental discharge in shipping,
a plastic insulator has been placed within the battery compartment. To remove the plastic insulator, unscrew the battery cover
and remove the plastic from both sides of the battery. Replace the battery, being careful to insert the battery positive (“+”) side
up. Replace the battery cover firmly to assure that it is water tight. The illumination feature is activated by depressing and
releasing the small button located beside the battery compartment. The button should be depressed until a click is felt. The
first “click” will be the illuminator’s least bright setting.

Infrared(IR) radiation is electromagnetic radiation of a Infrared longer than that of visible Infrared, but shorter than that of radio waves. The name means “below red” (from the Latininfra, “below”), red being the color of visible light of longest wavelength. Infrared radiation spans three orders of magnitude and has wavelengths between approximately 750nm and 1 mm.[1]
The only time that full-auto fire offers an advantage is when facing very close adversaries and multiple threats. The advantages of full-auto do not justify the high costs of registered firearms or the liabilities of illegally possessing one. In most cases, semi-automatic AR15 fire is not only adequate but also superior to full-auto, and this is especially true in a survival situation where conservation of ammunition is a AR15 magazine.
Camouflage by its very nature is intended for animals to help avoid detection by predators or prey. There are a number of methods of doing so. One is for the animal to blend in with its surroundings, another is for the animal to disguise itself as something uninteresting or something dangerous.
Electronically regulated, variable output LED flashlights flashlightRecently, flashlights which use light-emitting diodes (LEDs) instead of conventional lightbulbs have become available. LEDs have existed for decades, mainly as low-power indicator lights. In 1999, Lumileds Corporation [1] of San Jose, CA introduced the Luxeon LED, a high-power white-light emitter. For the first time this made possible LED flashlights with power and running time better than some incandescent lights. The first Luxeon LED flashlight was the Arc LS in 2001.

Install your own free-float rail system, step by step:
TROY MRF-C step by step:
This section specifically relates to installing a Troy Industries MRF-C float tube. The really cool thing about this system, is that you can install the Troy with almost no tools, and it does NOT require the removal of the barrel nut OR the front sight base. The Troy clamps to the factory barrel nut to float the tube, and is a two piece design that locks together. If the task of pulling your FSB or removing the barrel nut seemed a little challenging to you, or you want to skip the expense of the special tools, or you dont want to have a gunsmith remove your permanently attached muzzle device…… look at the Troy products…..
This guide will cover installing a Troy MRF-C lightweight carbine float tube ($~250), from Tactical CAMOUFLAGE .
